Every watch at Swiss Time House is genuine, brand new and covered by its manufacturer's warranty. Since 1946, customers across India have trusted us with one of the most personal purchases they make. This page explains how we guarantee authenticity and how your warranty works.

Our authenticity promise

We source every watch from the brand or its official distributor in India. We never sell grey-market, refurbished or pre-owned watches as new.

Your watch comes in its original box, with the brand's warranty card and any documents the brand supplies.

Manufacturer's warranty

Your watch is covered by its manufacturer's warranty. The warranty period depends on the brand and model, and is printed on the warranty card that comes with your watch.

Keep your Swiss Time House invoice and the warranty card together. You will need both to make a claim.

What the warranty covers

The warranty covers manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship, including the movement.

It usually does not cover normal wear such as scratches on the case, glass or bracelet; straps and batteries; damage from accidents or misuse; water damage after the case has been opened; or repairs by an unauthorised service centre. The exact terms are set by each brand.

How to make a warranty claim

Bring the watch, your invoice and the warranty card to any Swiss Time House store, or email support@swisstimehouse.com with your order number.

We will check the watch, send it to the brand's authorised service centre and keep you updated until it is back with you.

Are your watches genuine?

Yes. Every watch is brand new and genuine, sourced from the brand or its official distributor, and sold with its original box and warranty card.

How long is the warranty?

It depends on the brand. See Warranty by brand above for each brand's standard warranty. The exact period for your watch is printed on the warranty card that comes with it.

Is the warranty valid outside India?

Many brands offer an international warranty that is honoured at their authorised service centres worldwide. Check the warranty card for your brand's terms.

Do I need my invoice to make a claim?

Yes. Keep your Swiss Time House invoice and the warranty card together. Both are needed for a warranty claim.

Does the warranty cover the strap or battery?

Usually not. Straps, bracelets and batteries wear with normal use and are typically excluded. Your brand's warranty card lists the exact terms.
